Here’s what 2026 CCAR President Anthony Stroud had to say about the June market in Clark County:
“The Clark County housing market is having a strong summer. We’re seeing double-digit increases in closed sales compared to both June 2025 and May 2026, along with an 8% increase in new listings over the past year. That means buyers have more choices than they’ve had in quite some time.
Perhaps the most encouraging trend is that home prices have remained relatively stable, with only about a 1% increase year over year. After several years of rapid appreciation, we’re seeing a much healthier pace of price growth, which is welcome news for buyers and sellers alike.
At the same time, we recognize that affordability remains a real challenge for many families. That’s why REALTORS® continue to advocate for policies that increase housing supply and expand housing opportunities across a range of price points. A healthy housing market isn’t just about strong sales—it’s about creating opportunities for more people to find a place they can call home.
These numbers reinforce that Clark County continues to be a desirable place to live, work, and raise a family, and we’re encouraged to see the market becoming more balanced while remaining resilient.”
