Advocacy & Influence
We will have effective relationships with local government officials and municipalities. We will encourage and nurture relationships with local organizations such as the Builders Association and the Chamber of Commerce. Members will understand the endorsement process and reasons why candidates are endorsed. We will increase our members’ attendance at legislative events.

Professionalism
The Professional Standards & Ombudsman Committees have both pledged to educate members on the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, to investigate and assess all complaints and to ensure all parties are treated fairly. CCAR has adopted NAR’s Pathways to Professionalism, which promote respect for the public, property, and peers.
Dispute Resolution – Options for Resolving Conflicts
CCAR assists in resolving home buyer/home seller disputes by overseeing a mediation program. The majority of mediated cases are able to reach a mutually agreeable settlement.
Education
CCAR partners with Washington REALTORS® and other third-party affiliates to offer educational opportunities throughout the year to our members. Thrive is the online educational platform that provides all CCAR members, including both primary and secondary memberships, up to 24 hours of their required continuing education (CE) hours needed for their WA and/or OR real estate license renewals.
