It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Janice Hall-Matteo. Like all of you, we are heartbroken and devastated by our loss.
Janice was a wonderful wife to Jim, mother to Juliet and Nick, daughter to Tom and Carol, sister to Deborah, stepmother to Maria and Melissa and a dear friend to us all. She was adored by her immediate and extended family. She was a bright light in all of our lives and we are so grateful for the outpouring of love and messages of support.
Janice’s sudden passing meant that there were no preparations made ahead of time. We are asking for donations to cover the costs associated with her service, medical, and other expenses so Jim and their children can grieve without the added stress of an additional financial burden.
Janice was an active member of the community and is remembered for her giving of time and treasure for the causes she believed in. You could always find her helping by volunteering to serve at CCAR, The Building Industry and The Columbia River Mental Health Services (just to name a few). When she had free time, she loved to travel, go to concerts and hang out with her friends and family.
Details on Janice’s memorial this summer will be forthcoming. Please take a moment to share photos and memories of Janice’s contribution before the memorial service HERE.
A special thanks to KW Cares for their generous support.
