Here’s what CCAR President Amy Wells had to say about the April market:
“There is a definite increase in market activity as the market ramps up for the traditional summer selling season. At the end of April, we were looking at a 7% increase in new listings year-over-year, and a nearly 23% increase in new listings vs the end of March, 2025. Closed sales were up at the end of the month as well. While the influx of new listings is certainly welcome, it remains to be seen if this is a sign of a sustained increase or just the normal seasonal increase we usually see as the weather warms up.”
