Ethics Instructor: Louise Strother

Louise Strother has always had a passion for teaching, and she brings this spark to the field of real estate.

As an instructor with The Real Estate School, she has developed and taught a variety of courses including organizational skills, pricing & positioning property, working with clients, and the once-required Transitions Course, as well as presenting of school owned courses such as the Pre-Licensing requirements of Fundamentals & Practices.

A former Area Governor for Toastmasters, holding the designation of ATM (Able Toastmaster), founding board member of the Masque & Mirror Community Theatre, Louise strives to keep her courses interesting as well as informative.

Starting her career in real estate in 1999, in 2 years becoming part owner of Century 21 Gold Key Realty in Camas, WA, and then gaining the license of Associate Broker. Duties there included being an administrator: handling paperwork, writing advertising, commission calculations, spread sheets, as well as mentoring of agents. This was in addition to being an active residential real estate agent.

In 2000 -2001, Louise helped develop as well as taught courses within the Certified Web Designer program for WSU’s community education in association with Clark College.

Prior to life in Real Estate, Louise worked within the high tech computer industry for 23 years, most recent in the manufacturing field. Involvement and certification with the American Production & Inventory Society (APICS) led her to become their Portland Chapter Director of Education for 2 years running. Within that role, she oversaw instructors & certification courses for their coveted CPIM title (Certified Production & Inventory Manager). This included six different courses and up to four individual instructors.
