Jo Ann is the Association Executive (AE), the Chief Executive Officer of CCAR. The AE is appointed by and serves at the pleasure the President and Board of Directors (BOD). The AE acts as the general manager of the Association and employs and supervises a professional Staff (listed below) to operate the CCAR office and coordinate all business activities. In consultation with the President, BOD and Committee Chairs, the AE and Staff support REALTOR® and Affiliate members in a wide range of programs to elevate the profession, benefit the membership and defend the rights of property owners. The AE serves a resource on Association rules and procedures and as a liaison with Washington REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

 

Carrie Leder, Director of Member Relations and Programs

Carrie Leder is the staff liaison to the Affiliate Council, Membership, Programs, Education, Ombudsman, Grievance, Professional Standards, and Special Event Committees. She processes all Ombudsman Requests, Ethics Complaints and Arbitration Requests received by CCAR in compliance with the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. As Director of Programs, Carrie works with the Committee to plan the Membership Meetings and other Membership Events bringing value, information, and fun to the Realtor® and Affiliate Memberships. CCAR hosts several annual events (i.e. CCAR Golf Tournament, and RPAC fundraisers) that she plans and executes with the volunteer committees. Carrie creates the weekly publication, News You Can Use, and the monthly Affiliate Update.

 

Charlene Kohls, Membership Services

Charlene manages the CCAR “front office” and is one of two staff members responsible for processing new member applications and updating membership records. She greets callers to the CCAR switchboard, assists members making purchases at the REALTOR® Store, and registers members for events. Charlene also oversees the workroom inventory, the duplication, postage and fax machines. She is truly the CCAR “Director of First Impressions” and facilitates all operations of the Association. In addition, Charlene handles accounts receivable and payable.
